Training day…

A couple of good laps before the first race at Serres.

New lens, old habit is back.

Just got myself a new lens as I have waited for too long. All my investments went to that bloody motorcycle and forgot about my old habits.

It’s a Canon 70-200mm f/4 L USM. Hope I’ll start using it properly starting next week at the first stage of the Romanian Superbike 2010 at Serres Circuit, Greece.

Here are some demos of yesterday’s impression.

So after the trip I had to Serres, for the last race of the Romanian Superbike Championship season, got home and have sold my motorcycle, the Honda CBR 600 F4i 2001.

Now, after not so long time, just got another. It’s a Honda CBR 600 RR from 2005. It’s a completely different bike. Much more sportier, less weight, more power, different riding style, more for track use than road. My first contact was a bit weird, I have formed my style and riding senses on the F4i and now I’m like a little baby, step by step I have to learn everything almost from scratch. Unfortunately but also comes in a good way, here it’s winter season and the cold and wet period is keeping me away from riding. That means I have time to forget all I know on the F4i and in spring I’ll be fresh and ready for the RR.

Here is the first part of what was a very nice trackday event!

All I can comment about this weekend is that I can’t wait for the testing in the end of March to go back again, hopefully with my own track bike!

Ok people. I have no idea who (if someone) is reading my page, but I have an announcement to make!

Starting from today, this page will be displayed in English. I quit writing in Romanian, also I’ll try to translate some of the old posts, depending on my free time.

UK Trip August 2009

Uite că am ajuns și-n insula asta, văzut, plăcut, făcut mii de draci că m-am întors.

Nu pot exprima acum, pur și simplu vreau înapoi. Lejeritatea în comunicare, în mișcare, în viață…

Totuși, cât m-am plimbat eu prin diferite țări, nu cred să fi văzut atâtea femei urâte la un loc! Deci… chiar urâte, și foarte vulgare în același timp, ieftine. Au mare bulan cu regina aia, că le-a dat legi să facă ce vor, altfel le stârpeau de mult bărbații englezi!

În fine, am apucat să văd puțin din păcate, 2 zile în Londra și alte 2 în Reading. Poate viitoarea călătorie acolo va fi definitivă, we shall see.

Am reușit să prind și ceva celebritățuri pe acolo…
